Use the Proximity Sensor van de iPhone?????
« on: December 18, 2012, 09:30:06 pm »
What does the lock screen button in the upper center of the screen between the buttons Distance and Duration?

If the meaning is that the battery should remain spared, why do not you make use of the proximity sensor of the iPhone. See the EveryTrail app that makes a good use when a trail is recorded.

I think this is a great loss to the apps Sitytrail. If the proximity sensor of the iPhone is used, the screen goes black when you put it into your pocket and the iPhone is not locked.

Hello.

That button is not a lock button, it allows you to show the counter on the map instead of the toolbars in full-screen mode.

About the use of the proximity sensor, we add this request to the list of our customers' suggestions.

Thank you.

Best regards.

OK, I did not understand. So, not well read in the manual.

The activation of the proximity sensor is very important when recording a walk. This causes the battery of the iPhone much longer, the iphone is not locked. Take your iPhone out of the pocket then it is not necessary to turn on the iPhone and to ente rthe code.

A very significant improvement!. Like short-term programming.

Hello.

The help of the application will soon be updated to reflect the latest changes.

We will try to support the proximity sensor of the iPhone as soon as possible but in the meantime, you can manually lock your iPhone thanks to the hardware button.

Hello.

The new version which will fully support iPhone 5 screen should be available on the AppStore before the end of June 2013.

However, this version will not use the proximity sensor. We cannot tell you when we will support the proximity sensor.

It still takes a long time, it is incomprehensible that actively making the  proximility sensor not yet performed. That is very important for the battery while walking.

Hello.

This request is in the list of our customers' requests but will not be processed with a high priority because no other user has asked yet for the same function.

The priority depends on the number of customers asking for the same function and our commercial priorities.

Sorry.
